It’s Friday and we’re excited to leave the office, there are lesser cars on the road and the mood is beginning to look laid back. High above, even the birds hurriedly fly home with excited tales to share with their mates as the sun begins to set. Is this just a textbook end of the week run? But all is not as it seems. This Friday night is different, it is the start to the Enlighten Night Noodle Markets 2016!
Taking place from 4 March to 13 March at Reconciliation Place, Canberra is in for a treat once again this autumn. It is our second Night Noodle Markets experience and we are pleased to see a larger array of food choices. Our favourite Canberra restaurant is also taking part – Miss Van’s Food. The options are endless, from Gyozas to Inihaw Na Baboys and Coconut Curry Noodles to Saffron Rice. The list goes on and here’s the full menu.
We were guests at the Good Food Month/ Fairfax Media Enlighten Night Noodle Markets VIP launch and had a sneak taste. Have a look and get yourself ready for the next 8 nights!

I absolutely love gyoza and that one looks delicious. This looks like a fun Friday night festival, wish I was there to also partake on the inihaw na baboy – YUM!
