The Upper East Side of Manhattan – A Photo Story

This photo story features street scenes and artistic buildings of uptown Manhattan. Located in the northern region of the island, the upper east-side is considered the wealthiest zip code in America with beautiful mansions, apartments buildings and monuments of the movers and shakers of New York City.

Walking around the Upper East Side offers a chance to admire the intricate details of buildings between Central Park and the East River. The area is host to many places of worship along with some of the most famous museums in the world. The Upper East Side lies within an area bounded by 59th Street to 96th Street and the East River to Fifth Avenue-Central Park.

Featured below are photos of shops on 72nd Street, Apple Store on Fifth Avenue, trees of Central Park, Temple Emanu-El, Cathedral of St. John the Divine, Riverside Church, Grant’s Tomb, The Crenshaw Christian Center, American Musuem of Natural History, Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and several apartment buildings and mansions.
